Students can register and pay online for all of the courses. For private lessons, please call 778-297-5505 to reserve your weekly lesson time.
Students can register in person at our office #140-6231 London Road, Richmond. Please, call 778-297-5505 to schedule at 15min. – 30 min. appointment. Please, have your first month tuition fee payment with you (check/cash/credit).

K-12 students must pre-pay for 4 lessons as a trial. During this time you will be be evaluated for a full academic year enrollment. * read Tuition Fee below
Adult students (post-college) must pre-pay for 4 lessons as a trial. After one month of lessons adult students are required to pre-pay for 10 lessons.* read Tuition Fee belowMISSED OR CANCELLED LESSONSStudent – initiated:
All students are fully responsible to attend and be punctual for lessons (4-5 lessons per month).
Private lessons missed by students due to family vacations outside of the official school holidays (Winter Break & Spring Break) will be charged in full and later made up at the mutual convenience of teacher and student.
All partly or totally missed lessons without 24 hour notice will be charged in full.
Students are encouraged to give 2 weeks notice for planned absences including family vacations, school events, sporting games, etc.
Students are entitled to a maximum of three make up lessons per school year as long as sufficient notice is received. Any additional make up lessons are at the discretion of the teacher.
The school will not issue a make up lesson for a missed Semi-Private and Group Class.Teacher – initiated:

A teacher will make three attempts to schedule a make up private lesson. If a teacher contacts a student 3 times without any reply from the student – your lesson will not be made up.
Once the make up lesson is scheduled, the student must record the date and time accurately. If the student forgets or misses the make up lesson without 24h notice, that lesson will not be made up.
There will be no refunds for lessons missed.
Medical Exceptions:
Pro- rated refund will be only issued for medical reasons with a doctor’s certificate. Pro-rated refunds will be issued from the date on the doctor’s note. All refunds must be claimed within the same term as the registered class or will be forfeited.TERMINATIONStudent-initiated:
It is presumed that all students will continue lessons for the whole academic year. Should a student wish to withdraw, one month’s notice is required in lieu of one regular month payment of tuition fee. If you decide to discontinue immediately, one month’s payment is required.Teacher-initiated:
Negligence in attending and practicing may result in being asked to withdraw from the enrollment.SCHOOL CONCERTS AND EXAMS FOR K-12 STUDENTSWMA ‘s academic calendar consists of 4 semesters: Fall, Winter, Spring and Summer (optional).
At the end of every semester the student will be tested on their improvement at their teacher’s discretion. A test may consist of scales, etudes, technical exercises, as well as ear training. An instructor will select the appropriate repertoire for each student, based on RCM syllabus or other well respected systems. A report card will be given to each student at the end of every semester.
There will be 2 dress rehearsals and 2 concerts during the academic year. The first dress rehearsal and a concert “Frosty Music Gala” will be held at the end of the Fall Semester. The second dress rehearsal and a concert “Spotlight Summertime Kids” will be held at the end of the Spring Semester. Participation is at teacher’s discretion.
SCHOOL CONCERTS FOR ADULT STUDENTS
Based on students’ interest the school will be hosting “Music Socials”, informal concerts – gatherings for adult students.
TUITION FEE
Ten (10) post dated check should be submitted at the beginning of the school year dated on the 1st of every month starting with September. Each check should be a payment of four (4) lessons per month, 40 lessons per year. The K-12 student will receive 38 lessons and will take part in 2 dress rehearsals and 2 concerts. (Dress Rehearsal + Concert are charged together as one lesson). Lessons that fall on the holidays will be made up.
* Lessons for adult music students are not based on a school year calendar. Adult students prepay for 10 sessions.
